Helping the Church respond to mental health with biblical truth, clinical wisdom, and compassion.

We equip churches, leaders, and individuals with practical tools that honor both faith and mental health.

Who This is For

For churches, ministries, leaders, and individuals ready to care for mental health without compromising biblical truth. We provide Gospel-centered, faith-informed education, consulting, worship experiences and resources that help people and communities flourish.

How The Job Project Helps

01
Equip

For churches and ministry leaders looking to create, build, scale and sustain impactful mental health ministries that are clinically based, trauma-informed and Gospel centered.

02
Counsel

For individuals who feel stuck in their healing journey and want to explore how biblical truth intersects with mental health, making sense of both their faith and their lived experiences. They are ready to uncover the root causes of present struggles, deepen their understanding of Scripture, and pursue the spiritual freedom Christ offers.

03
Empower

Resources crafted for individuals, churches, and organizations who want to find and build safe, faith-informed spaces for mental health education, biblical discipleship, authentic conversations, and thriving communities.

Why Trust The Job Project

The Job Project combines academic training, ministry leadership, and lived experience to equip churches and individuals with trusted, faith-informed mental health resources.

Together, our founders bring more than 30 years of ministry leadership, nearly 20 years of combined experience in mental health ministry, graduate-level expertise in psychology and music, and extensive backgrounds in research, education, counseling, coaching, and ministry development.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit since 2024, we're committed to serving the Church with biblical conviction, professional excellence, and compassionate care.

I have been in ministry leadership for over 18 years, across 7 churches, and though I have served under some amazing and supportive leadership, I don’t think I have felt as seen and supported mentally, emotionally and spiritually as I have in the few weeks of working with The Job Project. The way Chris & Val seamlessly bridge the gap between mental health and the Gospel has greatly affected not only the way I perceive the Word of God, but it has also infiltrated the way I lead.

Welcome to The Job Project!

We are Chris and Valerie Lilley, the creators and founders of The Job Project. We started this ministry as a podcast in 2019. Today we’ve expanded into teaching workshops, providing therapy and spiritual counseling resources, worship experiences, collaborating with churches, and continuing the conversation on our podcast! We exist to equip everyday people with faith based mental health education.
